TXR Injection is a broad-spectrum, long-acting parenteral third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic containing Ceftriaxone Sodium. Engineered for immediate systemic bioavailability via Intravenous (IV) injection/infusion or Intramuscular (IM) injection, TXR delivers potent bactericidal action against a comprehensive range of Gram-negative and Gram-positive aerobic and anaerobic bacterial pathogens. It is widely indicated for severe lower respiratory tract infections, bacterial meningitis, intra-abdominal infections, complicated urinary tract infections, bone and joint infections, pelvic inflammatory disease, skin/soft tissue infections, bacterial septicemia, and surgical infection prophylaxis.
\n \nBroad-Spectrum Bactericidal Coverage: Highly effective against resistant Gram-negative bacilli (including Enterobacteriaceae and Haemophilus influenzae) and Gram-positive pathogens (Streptococcus pneumoniae).
\nExtended Systemic Half-Life: Features a prolonged elimination half-life that permits convenient once-daily parenteral administration in most clinical indications.
\nHigh Meningeal Penetration: Crosses inflamed blood-brain barriers rapidly, serving as a primary line of treatment for bacterial meningitis.
\nDual Route & Flexible Dosing (500mg to 2g): Offered in specific IV and IM formulations across 500mg, 1g, and 2g strengths to cater to pediatric, adult, and critical inpatient care.
\nSurgical Infection Prophylaxis: Effective single-dose pre-operative prophylaxis to prevent post-operative surgical site infections.
\nTXR Injection (Ceftriaxone Sodium) exerts its bactericidal action by selectively binding to penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) located on the inner bacterial cell membrane. This binding blocks the final transpeptidation step of peptidoglycan synthesis, disrupting the structural assembly of the bacterial cell wall. The resulting osmotic instability triggers cell wall rupture, autolytic enzyme activation, and rapid cell death of dividing bacterial organisms.
\n \nSKU: TXR-INJ-500-IM
Short Description: Formulated specifically for deep intramuscular administration; ideal for pediatric outpatient care, uncomplicated gonorrhea, and mild-to-moderate community infections.
\nKey Active Ingredient: Ceftriaxone Sodium — equivalent to 500mg Ceftriaxone per vial (reconstituted with Lidocaine Hydrochloride solution to minimize injection site pain).
\nTarget Indications: Uncomplicated gonococcal infections, pediatric mild-to-moderate respiratory/urinary infections, and acute otitis media.
\nStandard Dosage: Administer 500mg deeply into a large muscle mass once daily, or as prescribed by a healthcare provider.
\nSKU: TXR-INJ-500-IV
Short Description: Intravenous formulation intended for pediatric inpatient care, step-down parenteral therapy, and moderate systemic infections.
\nKey Active Ingredient: Ceftriaxone Sodium — equivalent to 500mg Ceftriaxone per vial (reconstituted with Sterile Water for Injection).
\nTarget Indications: Pediatric systemic infections, complicated UTI, and moderate lower respiratory tract infections.
\nStandard Dosage: Administer 500mg slowly via direct IV injection over 2 to 4 minutes once daily.
\nSKU: TXR-INJ-1G-IV
Short Description: Standard adult intravenous strength for severe community-acquired infections, pre-operative surgical prophylaxis, and inpatient care.
\nKey Active Ingredient: Ceftriaxone Sodium — equivalent to 1g Ceftriaxone per vial.

\nKey Active Ingredient: Ceftriaxone Sodium — equivalent to 2g Ceftriaxone per vial.
\nTarget Indications: Bacterial meningitis, severe hospital-acquired septicemia, neutropenic fever, and severe bone and joint infections.
\nStandard Dosage: Administer 2g once daily (or 2g every 12 hours for bacterial meningitis) via slow IV infusion over 30 minutes.
\nCeftriaxone Sodium (500mg / 1g / 2g): Parenteral third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis.
\nReconstitution:
\n \nFor IM Route (TXR 500mg IM): Reconstitute strictly with 1% Lidocaine Hydrochloride solution to reduce local injection pain. Warning: Solutions containing Lidocaine must NEVER be administered intravenously.
\nFor IV Route (TXR 500mg IV, 1g IV, 2g IV): Reconstitute with Sterile Water for Injection or 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection. For IV infusion (1g/2g), dilute reconstituted solution further in 50ml to 100ml of compatible IV fluids (0.9% Normal Saline or 5% Dextrose).
\nAdministration:
\n \nDirect IV Injection: Administer slowly over 2 to 4 minutes.
\nIV Infusion: Infuse over at least 30 minutes.
\nIM Injection: Administer via deep intramuscular injection into a large muscle mass (gluteal region).
\nCalcium Compatibility Warning: Do NOT mix or administer Ceftriaxone simultaneously with calcium-containing IV solutions (such as Ringer's or Hartman's solution), as precipitation may occur.
\nProfessional Healthcare Use: Must be administered exclusively by qualified medical personnel in a clinical or hospital setting.
\nPrescription-Only Parenteral: Strictly for professional healthcare administration; do not self-administer.
\nHypersensitivity Alert: Carefully screen patients for prior severe hypersensitivity reactions to cephalosporins, penicillins, or other beta-lactam antibiotics.
\nHyperbilirubinemic Neonates: Contraindicated in hyperbilirubinemic neonates and premature infants due to the risk of bilirubin encephalopathy.
\nGallbladder & Renal Sludging: High-dose or prolonged therapy may cause transient gallbladder biliary sludging or renal precipitates; monitor accordingly.
\nConsult an attending physician before use during pregnancy or lactation.
\nKeep out of reach of children.
