- Moxifloxacin Eye Drops in medical-grade PE bottles manufactured inside barrier-isolator.
- Each mL of solution contains 5mg of moxifloxacin as HCl.
- Available in a pack of 5mL medical-grade PE bottle.
- For topical use only.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
INDICATIONS
- Topical treatment of purulent bacterial conjunctivitis, caused by moxifloxacin susceptible strain.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Hypersensitivity to the active substance, to other quinolones, or to any of the excipients.
ADVERSE EFFECTS
- Conjunctivitis
- Dry eye
- Keratitis
- Ocular discomfort
- Ocular hyperaemia
DOSAGE
- Instil 1 drop in the affected eye(s) 3 times a day. No dosage adjustment necessary for paediatric patients.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION/ PRECAUTIONS
- Hypersensitivity and anaphylaxis have been reported with systemic use of moxifloxacin.
- Prolonged use may result in overgrowth of nonsusceptible organisms, including fungi.
- Patients should not wear contact lenses if they have signs or symptoms of bacterial conjunctivitis.
